SwitchMaster^® R6100 1U MPO-12 A/B switching system

     The R6100 MPO-12 Fiber Optic A/B Switch is a compact 1U rackmount switch that gives you unprecedented control over the fiber pairs in a MPO-12 connection. Use serial RS232 commands or Ethernet commands (telnet, web browser, SNMP or our included JAVA based Gui-SwitchCenter) to switch all 12 fibers, individual pairs, or groups of pairs with a single command. The adjustable keyway on each MPO-12 connector/port allows you to change the keyway orientation between UP and DOWN for straight-thru or crossover applications. Use a female MPO cable to connect your servers or backbone networks to the R6100 MPO ports.

•  Standard model supports 50um OM2, OM3/OM4. Single mode models also available
•  Uses special micro-mirror switch mechanisms to optically switch the fiber connections - transparent to wavelengths, data rates, formats and protocols
•  Latching models (standard) maintain the selected connections even when power fails or is removed. Non-latching models automatically failover to the MPO port A to MPO Common port connection state (all 12 fibers) if power fails.
